We believe that young children grow and learn better in school when their parents become active participants in the school setting. It is the program’s mission to encourage all families, regardless of family structure; racial, religious, and cultural backgrounds; gender; abilities; or preferred language to volunteer in all aspects of the program.
Ways that you can help:
Join our PPSC – The Preschool Parent Support Committee (PPSC) is a voluntary committee comprised of dedicated parents who play an integral role in the betterment of Pilibos Postoian Preschool. The primary function of this committee is to organize preschool events, fundraisers and extracurricular activities to promote parent involvement and school spirit.
Share your talent – If you have a hobby (carpentry, sewing, artist, pottery, cook, music) or a career (doctor, nurse, fire fighter, etc.) or have access to discount supplies or materials we may able to use at our preschool.
Teach your family traditions, cultures or customs - We welcome having parents share family traditions, cultures or customs with classmates. Activities can include (but are not limited to) cooking, storytelling, music, celebrations, etc. Please let your child’s teacher know so that we can schedule a convenient day and time.
